Our History

IAMO Telephone was formed in January 1962 when the communities of Blanchard, Coin and Northboro, Iowa along with Westboro, Missouri joined together to form the corporation. The name is derived from the abbreviations of IA (Iowa) and MO (Missouri). In January 2020, IAMO Telephone changed its name to reflect the growth of the company to IAMO Communications.

We are a small-town company who are in tune with our roots and pride ourselves on excellent customer service, technical knowledge and most importantly, quality of services. Supplying advanced connections for voice services, high speed fiber internet connections with speeds up to 1 GIG and television services all provided through our progressive fiber technology. We are a future forward company and strive to provide the latest technologies, fastest internet speeds and highest customer satisfaction ratings.

For over 60 years, IAMO Communications has been serving the communities & rural areas of southwest Iowa & northwest Missouri.
